Mega Update Part 2- Beijing

We arrived in Beijing at night but with enough time still have a walk around the city. Luck for us our hostel was right across the street from the train station and in walking distance to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City

Nate and I getting all geared up for some forbidden city action!

The Forbidden City was under Mega construction because of the Olympics....so alot of the good stuff was covered up.

There are tons of small places to buy all the Mao-y goodness you could want. So Nate and i got this awesome matching necklaces. they're heart-shaped with Mao's face in the middle. for a a little extra we had them engraved with " Nuna, Dong Saeng" which in Korean means "Big Sister, Little Brother"

I have A BUNCH more Beijing pics.....but it's getting late and i have to get up early....so hopefully tomorrow i'll have time for another update.
