Here is the view as we approached.
me and jessA beautiful statue of Kuan Yinwe bought incense to burn. Jess asked Jason the signifigance of it. Aparently it is food for Buddha.jess feeding BuddhaThis statue was HUGE!Gorgeous!!!!!!!
Asking Buddha to grant our wishes
Disciples of Buddha. Again these statutes are Giant!
Behind Buddha are pictures and names of people who have died

So Jason brings us to this cave. he says people go in there to pray and that it is very very dark, and that last time he went it he got very scared because he thought there was a bat in there with him.
I decided to be the brave one and go in first.
It was in fact all dark inside, until i turned a small corner and suddenly i saw this.
i dunno what it was about it...but it totally took my breath away. it was so eerie yet so beautiful and peaceful. i understand why people go in there. i felt like just sitting in there and enjoying how peaceful it was.
Well, that's all for now. hopefully we'll make some more journeys soon and i'll have more and more pictures to share with you.

Your picture of the temple are wonderful.. It must have been awesome (in the literal sense of filling you with awe). Beautiful.
You make for a very snazzy teacher. Look it you, all professional looking. Love it.

Also, it sounds like your firt day was terrific - and full of little quirks about the students. That's so great to hear! :)
